A few months ago I spent some mind-bending time on the Arizona, USA-Sonora, MX border. Flung Magazine let me write an essay about one particular day there–my first personal essay I’ve ever published. It’s not about me, I was just an observer in a tough place with a lot of contradictions at a weird time. Ranchers, militias, migrants, narco towns, El Chapo, Al Qaeda and a zillion other things all converge here. Photos by me, too, which is a newer and exciting thing. Thanks in advance for reading.
